Do you remember what it was like to spend your summer holiday sewing on your Mum/Granny’s sewing machine, learning to make the family Christmas pudding, or just getting really messy with poster paint? Me too!

My love of crafting has continued well into adulthood. Be it sewing, painting, doodling, or calligraphy, I love to create. Em Makes and Bakes is an insight into my crafting adventures, a friendly voice to encourage creativity, and a place to find top tips and advice, based on my own experiences (both successes and failures!).

Want to know a bit more about me?

Keen to get making?

Em Makes and Bakes was started in 2015 as a way of sharing my makes and to engage with fellow creatives. Whilst that is still at the heart of what I do, and why I do it, I do sometimes work with external brands and companies to enable me to keep the blog going.

All content is written by me, unless otherwise stated. Photographs are generally my own, I will always state in the photo credit if this is not the case.

I often share reviews of products I have genuinely bought myself, however I sometimes get approached by companies to review products. I only say yes to products that fit with the general theme of the blog, or that I know my readers will be interested in. I don’t say yes to everything!

Regardless of whether I have been sent a product or I have bought it myself, my posts will will always reflect my own opinion. If I ever feature products that I’ve been sent for review purposes, I will always declare this in the footer of the post.

I love it when people share my pictures on social media, but if you do, please ensure that you credit me, and tag me appropriately.

If you’d like to share one of my posts, please do so by sharing a link and 1-2 images.

If you have any questions on the above, or want to chat in general, please get in touch via my contact page.
